LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Matt Kuchar has withdrawn from the PGA Championship because of a sore back.
Kuchar waited until tee time Thursday before deciding he wasn’t fit enough to play.
John Huh took Kuchar’s place and joined the threesome with Louis Oosthuizen and Justin Rose.
Kuchar’s best finish in the PGA was a tie for 10th in 2010. He has missed the cut in three of his six career appearances.
