Two hurt in Whidbey motorcycle-car crash

COUPEVILLE Two people were hurt Wednesday in a crash on Whidbey Island east of Coupeville.

The collision was reported at 3:49 p.m. where Highway 20 crosses Parker Road, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

A Yelm man, 73, was driving a motorcycle when he struck a Nissan Altima that was stopped to make a left turn.

The Yelm man was taken to the hospital, as was his passenger, a 73-year-old Chehalis woman.

The Nissan driver, a 46-year-old Coupeville woman, was unhurt.

Troopers are investigating.
