Sailor treated after fall from ladder

EVERETT A sailor assigned to Naval Station Everett was treated and released from a local hospital after a 14-foot fall on Monday, a Navy spokeswoman said.

The sailor is a petty officer third class on the USS Shoup. His age and other details were not made public.

The fall was reported at 1:30 p.m. Monday at a ladder on base. Everett firefighters responded.
