Front Porch: Have coffee with Marysville mayor

Marysville residents are invited to meet with Mayor Jon Nehring for coffee and conversation at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn starting at 10 a.m. March 4.
The barn is located at 6915 Armar Road.

Mukilteo kindergarten registration: Registration for kindergarten classes in the Mukilteo School District for the 2014-15 school year will begin at each neighborhood school starting March 3. A child must be at least 5 years old by Aug. 31.
Half-day kindergarten sessions will be held at each of the district’s 11 elementary schools.
Registered students will eventually be assigned to either a morning or afternoon session. Tuition-based, all-day kindergarten may be offered at a few schools, depending on space. Parents should first register their child at their neighborhood school, and then watch for an announcement about that program.
