Gas leak prompts closure of south Everett road

EVERETT A natural gas leak closed 132nd Street SE south of Everett for several hours Tuesday.

A construction crew working in the area struck a pipe about 4 p.m., officials said.

Utility crews also were called to the scene. No one was hurt in the incident.

As of 7 p.m., the road remained closed from the 3700 to 4700 blocks.
