Monday Seahawks links

Good morning, and if you’re going to try to buy tickets to Sunday’s NFC championship game when they go on sale at 10 a.m., good luck. Tickets for Seattle’s divisional round game against New Orleans were gone in less than half an hour, and this figures to be a significantly tougher ticket.

No, onto the links…

In today’s Herald, I write that this was the matchup we knew was coming all along.

The News Tribune asks whether Seattle’s offense needs to be better to win against San Francisco.

From Grantland.com, a breakdown of all four games over the weekend, and the observation that, considering the four teams that advanced, we could have just skipped the regular season.

Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback column leads off with his thoughts on the Seahawks’ win.

Also at TheMMQB.com, a Marshawn Lynch photo gallery.

Mike Silver of NFL.com with his take on a dream final four.

USAToday says that, to anyone but Seahawks and 49ers fans, these are two teams that are tough to root for.

Sports Illustrated’s Don Banks also says the best four teams are the last four standings.

If you want to read more about the 49ers’ win, lots of good stuff from CSNBayarea.com here and the San Francisco Chronicle here.
