SPOKANE, Wash. -- Walla Walla County Sheriff John Turner said the 17-year-old primary suspect in the shooting death of a 20-year-old Walla Walla woman has been arrested after Spokane police surrounded a Spokane motel.
The sheriff said Walla Walla detectives had obtained a first-degree murder arrest warrant for the teen sought in the death of Yesica Olivos. Her body was found last Friday along a Walla Walla-area road.
Additional arrest warrants for rendering criminal assistance were obtained for a man and a woman found Tuesday night in the same motel.
Spokane patrol officers, SWAT officers and hostage negotiators headed to the motel and got four people to come out peacefully. Turner said the fourth person, a woman, will be interviewed to determine her potential knowledge of the crime.
