Seems Like Yesterday

50 years ago (1963)

Dr. and Mrs. J.J. Frits, who had been enjoying their retirement years in boat and trailer travel, would be honored by friends and relatives on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception in Everett's Masonic Temple. Myrtle Churchill and James Frits exchanged wedding vows Dec. 27, 1913 in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island and he soon went into dental practice.

Dr. and Mrs. Harold Gunderson were planning a drop-in brunch at the Everett Golf and Country Club for their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Gunderson of Evanston, Ill., where he attended Northwest University Medical School. They arrived in Everett today to spend the holiday season with his parents.

25 years ago (1988)
