SEATTLE -- Bail has been set for the 25-year-old, 6-foot-tall man who police say tackled and sexually assaulted a woman in a brazen daytime attack at a Seattle park Sunday.
A King County judge Monday set a $500,000 bail for Coty Kelly following his arrest for second-degree rape on Sunday.
Police said that Kelly was at Myrtle Edwards Park sitting on a bench when he started urinating and yelling. Witnesses said he attempted to grab a woman walking near him, but she managed to get away. Another woman, the victim, tried to run away but was tackled by Kelly.
The attack happened about 11 a.m., with several witnesses around the area who gave police a description of Kelly.
