EVERETT -- Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday afternoon in Everett.
The robbery was reported about 4:45 p.m. at the Whidbey Island Bank at 5615 Evergreen Way, said Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell.
A man entered the bank and demanded cash. The man then jumped on the counter and grabbed money from the drawer, Snell said. He then ran away southbound.
A police dog track was unsuccessful. No injuries were reported, and no weapon was seen.
The suspect was described as white, and about 5-foot-9 with a medium build. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a white face mask.
The investigation is ongoing. The same bank branch was robbed in March. There was no known connection as of Tuesday, Snell said.
