Kent police: Girl, 8, reports sexual assault

KENT, Wash. -- A Kent police detective says an 8-year-old girl walked into a hotel and told workers she had been sexually assaulted Thursday afternoon in woods behind the building.
Detective Melanie Frazier said a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody and was being questioned.
Frazier said the little girl and the teen knew each other.
KOMO-TV reported that the girl was taken to a local hospital. Her condition was not known.
