A win is a win

And ugly is still ugly: The Seattle Seahawks, coming back from a 21-point deficit, won in overtime against the winless Buccaneers to extend their record to 8-1. The Seahawks continue to struggle with weak pass protection for quarterback Russell Wilson.

Among the remedies being considered is a rule change that would require pass rushers to count to 3 Mississippi.

Down the Tubes: Pop music stars Eminem, Taylor Swift and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were among the winners during the YouTube Music Awards, the social network's first foray into music awards.

Although he's earned critical praise for his new album, Eminem's win was seen as a surprise for a YouTubie, considering he was up against Mr. Whiskers, a piano-playing cat with 26 million views.

Don't know much about history: On this day in 1939, the United States modified its neutrality policy during the early years of World War II to allow "cash and carry" arm sales to belligerents, which favored Britain and France.

The U.S. foiled German attempts to purchase weapons when the Nazis were turned away with a full cart of weapons at the "9 items or less" lane.
