Should have gotten AppleCare for Obamacare

Try ctl-alt-del: President Barack Obama said he is as frustrated as anyone with the computer problems that have plagued the online insurance market that is key to his health care reforms, and he vowed that they would be fixed.

With Obama calling on the nation's IT support for help, a Million Geek March descended on Washington, D.C., hovered behind Obama seated at his Oval Office computer and asked if he had tried turning off his computer, then turning it back on.

Anchors away: Two new state ferries, the Tokitae and the Samish, are taking shape at a Bremerton shipyard.

Unlike three other recent ferries -- the Chetzemoka, Salish and Kennewick, which had built-in lists to one side that were later fixed -- the new ferries will have a built-in shortfall of state funding.

The French Disconnection: France angrily protested the revelation that the U.S. National Security Agency swept up 70 million French phone records and text messages over the course of a year.

French President Francois Hollande demanded an explanation and said that had the U.S. just asked France would have gladly surrendered the phone records.
