KENT -- Police say no one was hit when an officer fired his gun at a stolen pickup truck that knocked him down and hit his car Thursday night in a parking lot in Kent.
Police Chief Ken Thomas said the fleeing truck hit another car and became disabled in trees. The officer was able to hold three suspects at the scene until other officers arrived.
Thomas said the officer suffered bumps and bruises.
Police said the three suspects were treated by fire department medics for minor injuries and booked into jail.
