Shall we dance?

Hey, Bruno, how 'bout I show you my 'footwork'? "Dancing With the Stars" returns for a new season at 8 tonight on ABC. Among the dancers is Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of "Jersey Shore" fame.

In a bid to add some excitement and boost flagging ratings, the rest of the cast of "Jersey Shore" will be seated directly behind the judges' panel on metal folding chairs and provided bottomless well drinks.

It's for Arnold Ziffel: Northern Idaho may have the worst access to the Internet in the Northwest, with 62 percent of businesses and 72 percent of residents saying they have inadequate broadband service.

But things are improving. Just last week, Old Man Douglas was still having to climb to the top of the telephone pole outside his farmhouse to answer the phone.

Don't know much about history: On this day in 1857, songwriter James Pierpoint copyrighted "Jingle Bells" under its original title "One-Horse Open Sleigh," intending it for Thanksgiving.

Misunderstood even by his family, Pierpoint was ostracized for hauling out Christmas decorations before Halloween.
