    National Forest Service

Crews work on a section of the PCT in 2010.

The Pacific Crest Trail Association has work parties planned all up and down the trail all summer long. The projects are free. Meals and camping fees (if staying at a developed camp) are also covered. The PCTA will provide you with all the tools and safety equipment you need.

Check their website for more information. Right now, I see 22 trips scheduled in Washington.
