Prep baseball: Shorewood 4, Marysville Pilchuck 2

SHORELINE -- In a contest between the Wesco 3A South and North regular season champions, Shorewood scored 3 runs in the bottom of the sixth to keep its season alive and eliminate Marysville Pilchuck from the 3A District Tournament. Thunderbirds starting pitcher Sam Boone threw a complete game to improve to 10-0 on the season. Shorewood will play Glacier Peak for the third and final state berth on Saturday at Meridian Park Fields.
