Take your senses through a feast of real food flavors

Foodies, prepare your palates.
What could amount to a foodie's paradise, the Celebration of Food Festival, is coming May 19 to Lynnwood.
More than 50 vendors will encourage guests to taste, explore and experience real food at this Food Revolution Day event.
Food Revolution Snohomish County is a movement aimed at encouraging growing, cooking, preserving and eating real and healthy food. Food Revolution Snohomish County is presenting the Celebration of Food Festival for a second year.
The event includes food demonstrations for children and adults, displays and lots of items to buy.
Vendors will hand out a wide selection of free samples, from cheese to vegetables to chocolate.
Many Snohomish County farms will be on hand. The list includes Garden Treasures Organic Farm of Arlington, Klesick Family Farm of Stanwood, Willie Green's Organic Farm of Monroe, Mother Nature's Organics of Lake Stevens and Pioneer Farm of Stanwood.
The farmers markets of Everett, Mukilteo and Snohomish will also be represented.
Resources to help children and adults learn about growing, cooking, and preserving food will be available.
In fact, expanded activities for children this year make this an event the whole family can attend.
The Pacific Science Center, Imagine Children's Museum and Edmonds Community College STEM (science, technology and math) programs will be there. along with a children's story tent and a kids' food demonstration station.
Admission is free and shuttle service will take visitors to an overflow parking lot.
Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
