SNOHOMISH -- Jennie Winston batted 3-for-4 with four RBI, a double and three runs scored and Katlyn Purvis went 1-for-3 with a grand slam home run as Snohomish defeated Monroe in a Wesco 4A North softball game. The Bearcats still clinched a district berth after Mount Vernon lost to Lake Stevens.
