The class covers ways to reduce stress, relax, manage symptoms, set weekly goals, problem-solve effectively, improve communication, eat well and exercise. It includes a free book.
Classes start April 1, and meet from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays at East County Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe.
Past participants report feeling an increase in confidence and motivation.
Family members, friends and caregivers can also participate.
Space is limited. Registration is required. Contact Barb Thomas at 425-265-2283 or email See for more information about senior services.
