Car regulations infringe on rights

SHARE: facebook Twitter icon Linkedin icon Google+ icon Email icon |  PRINTER-FRIENDLY
I have an idea how to reduce the traffic accident death toll, courtesy of the NRA.
Let's repeal all traffic laws and speed limits, remove all those fascist government-issued stoplights and stop signs, and erase those annoying white lines down the middle of the road, and let Americans drive on whichever side they want.
We'll remove all those unfunded government safety mandates on automakers, requiring frills on cars like rear view mirrors, bumpers, safety glass windows, headlights, turn signals, brakes, speedometers, and fire-resistant gas tanks.
And of course we'll abolish the requirement for a government driver's license and test which illegally restricts every American man, woman, and child's God-given right to drive a motor car.
We don't need all that government regulation.
All we have to do is get tough with the evil degenerates that are involved in traffic accidents.
Anyone who gets involved in an accident, even if it's just touching bumpers in a parking lot, should be executed.
Just as with guns, we don't need any more traffic laws than we had when people rode horses, because just like guns cars don't kill people, people kill people.
