Healthy Seahawks head to D.C.

It's been mentioned earlier this week--and a few times throughout the season--that the Seahawks are healthier than the average team, but Pete Carroll made a point that illustrates just how true that is. The Seahawks will likely start the same lineup against Washington Sunday as they did in their season opener. Though actually, that isn't entirely true, because Golden Tate missed the opener with a knee injury and was replaced in the lineup by Bryalon Edwards.

Only two players show up on the injury report, RB Marshawn Lynch and CB Jeremy Lane, but both are probable to play.

"We’re about as healthy as we could get," Carroll said. "We have the two guys on the list who ware both probable, and everybody else is going. . . We’re very, very fortunate. You’re going to look at, I think the same 11 on both sides that started the season, so we’re pretty fortunate there."

Asked if he's had a team this healthy in his coaching career, Carroll said, "I can’t remember that happening, no. . . I can’t remember that ever happening."

Carroll said rookie J.R. Sweezy will again start at right guard, though John Moffitt could see playing time. He didn't say if Leroy Hill or Malcolm Smith would start at weakside linebacker, but said both will play.
