USK -- The Pend Oreille County sheriff says a man was fatally shot at a home south of Usk, in northeast Washington.
Deputies have arrested a second man who reportedly was having seizure-like symptoms when they arrived Monday afternoon and was unable to speak.
The Spokesman-Review reported that 57-year-old Dana Morey was dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to the chest.
Sheriff Alan Botzheim said the shooting took place at the home of the suspect's father, who reported it.
Deputies took 62-year-old Charles Langford of Newport to a nearby hospital for treatment prior to his booking into jail for investigation of murder.
