Koster's policies old, detrimental

Although I missed the Delbene-Koster debate, I did read the Herald's Tuesday article. It brought me back to the 1940s when Harry Truman discussed the failure of the previous Herbert Hoover administration that resulted in the Great Depression. In the 8th grade, I read Harry Truman's book "Mr. Citizen" and learned about "Trickle Down Economics" and how it led to the Depression, as well as how the Roosevelt/Truman policies brought us out of it.
Mr. Koster follows these same policies as has/does the GOP: that is, "deregulation" and "lowering tax rates" or stopping "class warfare" (against the rich and corporations); "changing" (killing it as we know it) Social Security and Medicare, support the use of coal and the Keystone pipeline (that worsens climate change and is currently killing the phytoplankton in Puget Sound) from Washington state to Canada; and the Dream act inappropriateness (instead deportation of immigrants).
These are many of the same policies that led to the Wall Street collapse as well as the current recession. Do we want a leader with these ideas than have not worked for the last 80 years and are currently failing today?
