Gov. Christie to stump for McKenna in Lynnwood

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a headliner at the Republican National Convention, will be the star at an Oct. 4 fund raiser in Lynnwood for Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna.

The evening event will be held in the Embassy Suites on 44th Avenue. Christie also will attend a McKenna fund raiser in Kennewick earlier in the day.

A page on the McKenna campaign website says people who volunteer at least 10 hours in the next two weeks will get a chance to meet Christie.

This is a return visit to Washington for the New Jersey governor. In August, he spoke at a GOP rally in Bellevue.
