LaVelle signs to play at Everett CC

Former Lake Stevens baseball player one of four Vikings headed to EvCC

Having once made a commitment to Oregon State and after a whirlwind trip to Florida and back that ended in no deal between himself and the Detroit Tigers, Dylan LaVelle finally has a home.

The former Lake Stevens infielder has signed to play for Everett Community College next season, according to Seth Dawson, the President of Operations for the Trojans baseball team. LaVelle joins Lake Stevens teammates Anthony Blackie, Christian Shouman and Alex Koeplin on the EvCC roster.

"I like Everett a lot just because it's close to home and with everything going on that might be the best route," LaVelle said in early July.
