Charles and Hammon named WNBA Players of the Week

Connecticut's Tina Charles and San Antonio's Becky Hammon were named the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference WNBA Players of the Week respectively on Monday.

Charles helped the Sun to a 2-0 record for the week averaging 21. 5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.

Hammon led the Silver Stars to a 4-0 record and got the Silver Stars back in contention in the Western Conference. She averaged 20.3 points and 4.8 assists per game in the four victories.
