Arlington: 'Cash mob' the food bank
People in Arlington are participating in a fundraiser for the Arlington Community Food Bank capital campaign.
Organizers say that people are encouraging each other to "mob" the food bank with $20 cash donations.

Camano Island: Yacht club offers fundraiser food
The Camano Island Yacht Club plans to offer a lunch Friday and Saturday and a Mother's Day brunch Sunday at the club, 129 N. Sunset Drive.
Lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and brunch hours are 9 a.m. to noon.
The fundraiser also includes a plant sale.
Everett: Free vessel safety checks
Everett Sail and Power Squadron volunteers are planning to offer free vessel safety checks Saturday at the Port of Everett Marina.
The checks are conducted to help owners achieve voluntary compliance with federal and state recreational boating safety laws, particularly with regard to the carriage of safety equipment such as proper life jackets, flares and fire extinguishers.
Checks will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A registration table is expected to be set up near AquaTrek Sales and Rental at 1720 West Marine View Drive.

Marysville: 'Junk in the Trunk' seeks vendors
Marysville Parks and Recreation is seeking vendors for an ultimate flea market called "Junk in the Trunk."
The event is scheduled for July 14 at the Municipal Courthouse, 1015 State Ave. Interested vendors can park their car in one space and then sell garage sale, household and vintage items; tools; antiques; collectibles; crafts and more from the open space next to it. The cost to participate as a vendor is $25.

Stanwood: Concert to benefit Safe Harbor Free Clinic
"A Night to Remember," a concert by acoustical guitarist Enrique Henoa, is set for 7 p.m. Saturday in the Performing Arts Center at Stanwood High School, 7400 272nd St. NW.
