We'll be updating this blog throughout the day as we cover the memorial planned for slain corrections officer Jayme Biendl.

Herald reporters and photographers will be working at Comcast Arena and throughout the county to cover the story. Check back often for updates on the motorcade, the memorial and more. We'll also be posting live updates on our Twitter account.

You can find all of our coverage since the news of the killing first broke here. Our full preview of the memorial is here.

If you are posting about the memorial on Twitter, WordPress, Flickr or other social media, shoot us a link at We're using the hashtag #Biendl on Twitter.
